"Why Lavender?" Lititz Garden Club

Jackie and Glenn Bartsch are life-long farmers, and Purple Moon Lavender Farm was born when Jackie retired from teaching and said, "Why don't we plant some lavender?" What started out as Jackie's 200 plants and a road-side stand quickly became Glenn's 2800 lavender plants and full lavender farm. Purple Moon currently has 10 cultivars of lavender, distills lavender oil right from the field, holds classes and events seasonally, and produces beautiful lavender-themed products. We delight in finding ways to infuse the beauty of lavender into daily life.
