TICKET TYPES


BLOOM FEST GENERAL ADMISSION TICKET - $12 - Includes U-Pick bouquet, live music with Connor Chapman, Essential Oils session with Lisa Cook, vendors, food vendors, and watching Butterfly Release.

BUTTERFLY ADD-ON - $10 - A butterfly for our release at 1 PM. (Also available with the yoga ticket.)

Purple Moon Cultivars

As a general rule, lavandula angustifolia (English) is considered culinary because of its high linalool and linalyl acetate content. Lavandula X intermedia is not considered culinary for its high content of camphor and eucalyptol.

Bowles Early - Lavandula angustifolia 

Dark purple buds, sweet scent, good for culinary, good for wreaths and bouquets

 

Buena Vista - Lavandula angustifolia 

Purple Calyx, lighter-blue violet petals, culinary, culinary, good for wreaths, versatile, second bloom

 

Folgate - Lavandula angustifolia 

Early bloomer, soft lilac, culinary, not a strong second bloom, high-quality for artisan products

 

Hidcote - Lavandula angustifolia 

Sweet, strong scent, dark purple blooms, holds color well in dried bunches, good oil producer

 

Imperial Gem - Lavandula angustifolia 

Hardy in cold climates, rich purple blooms, sweet fragrance, can be toxic to pets, holds its color for years

Beautiful white flowers, white version of Phenomenal, tall spikes, hardy in cold climates, heat and humidity resistant, holds its color when dried

Grosso 

Most widely planted lavender around the world for oil production, light purple flowers, long stems, good for dried buds, struggles in our soil and climate

Phenomenal 

Hardy in cold climates, PA heat and humidity resistant, dark purple blooms, tall spikes, great oil producer, our farm “work horse”

Provence 

Named for the region of Provence, France; beautiful, tall spikes, sweet scent, mauve-purple flowers, dried buds, good oil producer, struggles in our climate

Sensational

Hardy in cold climates, tolerant of heat and humidity, related to Phenomenal lavender, purple blooms, tall spikes, grows well here
